Do you think it’s dirty politics for Hillary to claim victories in Florida and Michigan?

Hillary wants those votes counted. Should they be? Should the delegates be counted? Or should she be penalized for breaking with the DNC and campaigning there? What should be done with these votes/delegates?

I’ve been saying for weeks that the only way to remedy the situation is to hold those two primaries again, allowing each candidate to campaign. Howard Dean is making the same argument. I don’t think the DNC can rightfully seat those delegates after both candidates knew those states wouldn’t count. That changed everything. Obama wasn’t even on the ballot in one state and he didn’t campaign really at all in Florida.

First she only campaigned in Florida after the Primary. Second Just like a Liberal to Say yes to the party then but they should be counted. Just another liberal flip flop! Include them! Why should a bunch of bloated, Stiff necked draft dodgers decide who the Democratic candidate is? Give me a brake!

Really there should be a redo that the GOP should pay for in florida and the Dem lead state in Michigan. Those knuckleheads created the situation by repeatedly telling the DNC to stick their rules. The DNC is taking far to much heat over those two groups’ decisions that lead to the disenfranchisment of their own voting populace.

Hillary is trying to get the rules committee which MSNBC’s Micah Brezinki advises is stacked with Clinton supporters to seat the Michigan and Florida delegates from the non-contested primaries she "won".

(Yes, that would be the Michigan primary where Obama and Edwards’ names weren’t on the ballot because they were supporting the DNC’s decision not to count those results and the Florida primary where Hillary ran two totally innocent fundraisers the week before the primary while Obama stayed away because again—the DNC got a commitment from all candidates not to campaign there and to accept that the results were not going to be counted. Obama is obviously a corrupt individual for honoring his word. Go Hillary! Win at all costs!)

At that point after they give her 300 or so delegates that she didn’t actually win (but clearly deserves for figuring out that the DNC actually wants to count those delegates), they can give the superdelegates the cover to steal the campaign from Obama! Go Democracy! This is what US politics is all about! Go DNC!

Then Hillary can step in all saint-like and offer Obama the VP spot (purely out of the kindness of her heart so that Obama supporters won’t feel bad — and will still feel a sense of accomplishment as they come out and vote for her and all of DEMs running for GOP vacated congressional spots instead of making his largely Indy base feel bad about voting for that old lousy McCain and the Republicans running for congress.).

There were rules all candidates agreed upon to not campaign in those states. They all agreed the delegates would be stripped and not count.

Billary needs to go to hell! More and more she is acting like Bush by thinking she is above the law and the constitution.

Im from Michigan and I very much think its dirty. When we did have our primary 7 out of 10 democrates votes republican beacuse of her being the only canidate. Thats not right she should get them all when only 30% of democrates voted. If there going to count those delegates there should be a new primary with both canidates on the ballet.

ABSOLUTELY NOT ! ! ! I encourage everone to e-mail the National Democratic Committee (as I did this morning) and tell them to stop the nonsense. We need to present a united front in order to win in November. Please send those
    e-mails in droves.

Yes, it is un-American to change rules in the middle of a game, as a matter of fact it is universally considered unfair and even underhanded. I could vote for either, but if Hillary claims this – well – it is underhanded and swings me towards Obama or McCain.

Sorry Florida and Michigan. Blame your democratic leaders but anny up and pay for a new primary or get the money from someone and play by the rules. Florida, get your act together on voting – your becoming an embarrassment to this democracy that we consider the best in the world. Your showing a trend of ineptness.
