Does anyone know if American bulldogs are banned in Dade County, Florida?

Does anyone know where I can go to find the answer?
My husband wants to move to florida (specifically Dade county) and it is really important for us to know. I know there is a ban on pit bulls or pitbull type dogs but I do not know what the "pit bull-type dogs" are. Please help me find out. Thank you.

‘Pit bull type’ dogs are the bully bread. An American bulldog is a bully dog. But I could not find anything on weather or not they are banned.

Your best option would be to call the Miami Humane Society and ask, they will know.
