Which Beaches Are The Best To Visit In South Florida?

My family is planning on going to a beach in South Florida, which beaches are the best to visit? They also have to be kid-friendly, my little cousins are coming.

anything north of fort lauderdale will do.

Miami is out of the question for kids.

Fort lauderdale is like a cheap version of Miami and you usually get alot more teens and under 21 people because they cant afford to spend time in Miami and Miami is more of a 21+ type of place.

heading north though near palm beach etc..pretty quiet beaches with plenty of parking – best spot for kids.

The Dominican Republic. I lived in Fla all my life and came to live here 2 1/2 years ago. Same climate,same foliage,beaches. The only differences are that they have mountains and speaking some Spanish could help.

I went to Tampa one time, but the water was more greenish. Is the water light blue in South Florida?

I live in Sarasota and our keys here have perfectly clear turquoise water. Go to either Anna Maria Island, Lido Key or Casperson Beach in Venice. Sarasota is about 50 minutes south of Tampa.

I go to Tampa about once a week for business but I haven’t found too many nice beaches there. I like Tampa but you cannot compare it’s beaches to the ones in Sarasota for example!

How good is the university of South Florida education wise?

I’m about to decide on what university I am going to attend to and the schools I’m deciding are University of Florida, Florida State University and University of South Florida but I haven’t heard much about the education at University of South Florida so I am hoping I can find out something here

Is the weather in Southern California similar to South Florida?

I live in Miami Beach, and it’s always hot or warm. We don’t get cold weather, but in Janurary or February there are some days where in the morning it gets chilly.

Southern California is much drier than Florida. It’s a desert heat that stays below 50% humidity for the most part. And, during particularly dry spells, it can get down to below 10% humidity. The Southern California climate is described as being Mediterranean, like Spain or Italy. But, the Florida climate is tropical, like the Caribbean. There’s also a wide variety of microclimates in Southern California, whether it’s a coastal climate near the ocean, a desert climate inland, a mountainous climate in the local mountains, etc. Florida is flat and pretty much the same across the whole state, although South Florida around Miami is very tropical.

Are there any alternative modeling agencies in south Florida?

I’m really interested in alternative modeling, but I can’t seem to find anything other than more mainstream modeling agencies. Is there any chance of me finding work if I can’t find an alternative modeling agency? The more mainstream agencies wouldn’t accept me, since I’m definitely not what they are looking for. Anyone know of any in the south Florida area?

There really aren’t any alternative agencies except Suicide Girls and Ugly Models in NY. Most alt work is booked directly with the clients. If you are in South Florida, you are going to have to do all the work on your own to find out which businesses are hiring alt models and contact them directly.

Where is there a modeling and/or acting class or training center in south florida?

I live in west palm beach florida, but i am willing to go to nearby areas for this. I want to know if anyone knows where there is a modeling training center or class anywhere in south florida. Also where is an acting class or acting training center in south florida. Done by good reliable trainers/ teachers that can prepare a teenager for acting and modeling. Know anyone in florida?
