Hundreds are expected to turn out to remember a Broward County sheriff’s deputy killed in the line of duty. A memorial service for Sergeant Chris Reyka begins at noon at the Bank Atlantic Center in Sunrise. Immediately following the memorial service, Sergeant Reyka will be laid to rest. Today’s funeral service will be at the South Florida VA National Cemetery.

I only met Sgt …
I only met Sgt Reyka once while i visited his daughter Ashely at their home. My memory of that night watching “Super Troopers” will stay with me forever. Sgt Reyka was infact a SUPER TROOPER. He lived for his family and friends, and protected all of us daily. He will be greatly missed. Rest in Peace Sgt Reyka, your shift is over. 10-7
I never met Sgt. …
I never met Sgt. Reyka but I cried when I found out that someone had murdered him. My bf is a Police Officer for FLPD n I worry about his safety everyday when he goes to work. He has been actively working w/BSO and all the other agencies in the search for the killer.
Our Lord knows who did this to Sgt. Reyka and his family. God will bring justice to his death through out the justice of men. Keep the faith. It will happen. God rest Sgt. Reyka’s soul. Amen.
